The Rains of 2006

Well, just when you thought it was going to be a dry winter here in San Francisco, the rains came. So, what to do now? Go to Lake Tahoe that is what. I mean, don’t go to Lake Tahoe because maybe I want to go up there and not have to drive in traffic. But, seriously, if you have a trip planned too San Francisco soon, you will want to plan on heading up to the ski slopes in Lake Tahoe. Tahoe is home to some of the best skiing in the United States and some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere. Even if you don’t ski or snowboard, experiencing winter in Tahoe is something that everyone should do at least once in their lives. A short 3 to 3.5 hour drive from San Francisco on wide roads, Tahoe is a mountain paradise.
